Dr. Glazer offers guidance from a moral, ethical and spiritual (in particular, Jewish) perspective in such areas as proxies and advance medical directives, palliative care, and hospice. In addition, he provides support to caregivers, including specific recommendations on how to best care for their loved ones – and how to take care of themselves and meet their responsibilities to other family members and their employer.

Can Dr. Glazer help me if I need to support loved ones in a distant city or country?

Yes. Dr. Glazer maintains a broad network of national and international contacts.

Where does Dr. Glazer conduct his individual/family planning and counseling sessions?

Dr. Glazer conducts in-person sessions at his office in North Bethesda, MD or at the client’s home. He also conducts sessions on the phone, Skype, or FaceTime.

How many individual/family sessions with Dr. Glazer are required?

Dr. Glazer provides individualized services and each situation is unique. Some of his clients need assistance with issues that may be resolved in a single session, while most require continuing consultation on either a regularly scheduled or an as-needed basis.

What is the fee for Dr. Glazer’s expert planning and counseling services?

When you contact Dr. Glazer and describe your individual and/or family issues, Dr. Glazer will inform you of the fee for an initial consultation and possible follow-up sessions. If the initial consultation suggests that multiple planning and counseling sessions could be beneficial, Dr. Glazer will provide you with an estimate of the time required and the cost. Dr. Glazer also provides specially priced ongoing counseling services on a monthly or annual basis.
